The 8th Conference of the Polish LNG and bioLNG Platform under the theme “Driving the Future” – LNG and bioLNG Strategies for Sustainable and Smart Mobility was held on October 2-3 in the halls of the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia. At the conference, Ecoexhaust CEO Tomasz Skulimowski was the keynote speaker. Patrons of the conference were the Minister of Infrastructure , Ministry of Climate and Environment.

LNG and bioLNG are becoming key fuels for sustainable transportation development. The conference described the current legal status related to biomethane and bioLNG fuels. Experts discussed key changes in regulations that have a direct impact on the development of this sector in Poland.

The conference also showcased the latest technological innovations that are shaping the future of the LNG and bioLNG sector.

Tomasz Skulimowski in the panel “Emissions and ways to reduce harmful compounds from high-powered internal combustion engines powered by alternative fuels” presented solutions to reduce harmful compounds from the exhaust of engines powered by these alternative fuels. SCR catalysts allowing NOx reduction, oxidation catalysts as well as DPF filters reducing particulates such as PM were presented. Solutions for both compression-ignition and spark-start engines were presented.
